Roof disconnector

Roof Disconnector

AC Railway vehicles with more than one pantograph typically adopt a 1-pole disconnector or change-over disconnector. This is to configure the roof line and downstream circuits to increase redundancy and reliability.

You can apply an Earthing version for higher safety. On DC-powered vehicles, the roof disconnector can be a compact indoor changeover or disconnector integrated into a HV box.

We offer a wide variety of designs fitting most installation requirements.

  • High short circuit withstand capacity
  • Compact size
  • Outdoor application
