LTHM/P-U/D Line disconnectors feature a modular design to support any combinations of max 4 NO, NC and CO poles with electric motor or pneumatic control. The poles may be connected in parallel for higher current ratings. The short circuit withstanding capability is exceptional (> 140 kA).

  • LTHM Line power connection layouts:
    • D version (IN and OUT on opposite sides) for NO, NC or CO type, up to 4 poles
    • U version (IN and OUT on the same side) for NO or NC poles, up to 2 poles
    • DC version (IN and OUT on the same side, one above the other) for NO and NC poles, up to 4 poles
    • CO version (IN and first OUT on the same side, second OUT on the opposite side) for NO and NC poles, up to 4 poles
  • Up to 4 poles: 800A or 1500A rated. Every pole may have 1 NO or 1 NO+1 NC, or 1 CO contacts.
  • The contact technology, based on multi-finger jaws, enables LTMH line disconnectors to withstand the worst dynamic currents foreseen in railway and industry applications.
  • Electric contacts based on LTHM/LTHP concept, providing exceptional short circuit capability, up to 180 kA
  • Most compact design can provide size, weight and cost optimization
