Precharge Resistor

Pre-charge resistors are connected in series to limit the inrush current caused by capacitor charging. Pre-charge resistors are excluded after a few seconds by the line contactor.

We designed our pre-charge resistors to provide the highest thermal performances in small space and guarantee, at the same time, an outstanding reliability. Wire or fins design as well as material choice are made to optimize technical solution and cost.
