LTPD/LTSD Series
LTPD/LTSD roof disconnectors are off-load switches, also called pantograph disconnectors. Depending on the model, they can connect, earth, and isolate the traction transformer from the pantograph.
They are motor operated devices, designed to be installed outdoor, on the roof of an electric traction vehicle. Based on your application, you can select one of two versions:
- LTPD version, Normally Open disconnector
- LTSD version, Change Over disconnector. One input can be connected to one of two outputs to configure the followings:
- Load position vs Earthing/Emergency position
- Load position 1 vs Load position 2
- Execution: Disconnector, Disconnector & earthing, Change over
- Ratings for 25 kVAC (50 or 60 Hz) and/or 15 kVAC (16,7 Hz) and/or 3 kVDC and/or 1,5 kVDC
- Rating for up to 2000 A
- High short circuit withstand current: 40kA for DC systems and 30 kA for AC systems
- Category / Operational Frequency class: A4 / C3
- Designed for applications up to OV4, PD4
