Voltage Limiting Device Panel

The VLD system prevents any voltage potential increase from occurring between the return circuit and earth caused by faults or short-circuits.

VLD respects the limits of maximum permissible touch voltage as defined by EN 50122-1 and EN 50122-3 standards. The fast actuation is guaranteed by thyristors combined with a NC contactor that provide the long-term closing.
