Rectifier Breaker

Rectifier Breakers are used to supply the power needed by railway substations. They are installed on the circuit after rectifier and before the main Busbar (OMNIBUS). Depending on the applicable standards (IEC or ANSI), the rectifier breaker can be monostable or bistable. The monostable version is based on a holding coil system (IEC only), while the bistable version is based on a permanent magnet holding system (IEC) or a mechanical latch holding system (ANSI).

We offer a wide variety of designs fitting most installation requirements.

  • High electrical durability guaranteed with ceramic arc-chute and arcing contacts
  • High short circuit withstand capacity as required by ANSI Standard
